My story has roots
Where it all began
This picture shows my ancestors – people who, with their work, their courage, and their lives, laid the foundation for everything I continue to think about today. Their values live on in Chrambl.
From the Soap Emperor to Chrambl® – my way back to myself.
Where I come from – and why that changed everything
I didn't just develop a product.
I remembered who I am – and where I come from.
The story of Chrambl begins long before the brand.
It begins with a family that has been deeply rooted in nature, craftsmanship and agriculture for centuries.
My great-great-grandfather Anton was born on July 31, 1847 in Spielleithen in the Mühlviertel region of Upper Austria.
It represents the maternal line of my family, which has shaped the simple, honest life of the countryside for generations. I, too, am part of this line – and carry on its values.
On my father's side, my ancestors also lived closely connected to nature – embedded in farming traditions, manual labor, and the deep awareness that the earth should be treated with respect.
This dual background from two down-to-earth worlds has shaped me – and it lives on in everything I develop today.
In 2015, I appeared as a soap emperor on the TV show “The Lion’s Den.”
That's when my public journey began with a clear vision: to rethink the soap world.
Initial successes followed – and ultimately a serious corporate crisis that culminated in insolvency. I also found myself in personal bankruptcy.
But I was able to overcome this phase: with know-how, determination and a clear vision, I successfully rebuilt the company.
After the reconstruction, there was an amicable separation – I left the company.
Without a clear perspective, I withdrew and began to think about my origins.
I did some genealogical research, talked to my father, and pieced together my life.
In this quiet, deep phase – between everyday life, reflection and questions about the future – the idea for the Chrambl® Multi-Wash Cube was born.
A product that didn't come out of nowhere, but from lived life.
From practical experience, defeats, insights – and the deep desire to create something meaningful.
I realized:
Failure is not the end – but the beginning of the beginning.
During this time I came across the oldest known spelling of my family name: Chrambl .
It became a symbol for me – of origin, of memory, of strength.
Chrambl Memory 1631 is more than just a brand name.
It is my sign that
that you can draw strength from setbacks.
That origins are binding – and the future needs to be shaped.
And that real strength lies in putting yourself back together when everything falls apart.
“You honor the past by shaping the future.”
