www.stern.de - One cube, five wash cycles, zero guilt: Chrambl put to the test
Less plastic, more simplicity: The Chrambl cube from "Die Höhle der Löwen" (the German version of "Shark Tank") replaces detergent and fabric softener – sustainably. Stern magazine put it to the everyday test.

The scent? Surprisingly good. Slightly floral, but not too strong. The laundry? Soft, even without fabric softener. And most importantly: the stains are gone. Even after a 40-degree wash with sportswear.
Those who prefer lather or spectacular scents might be surprised by how subtle the whole process is, but that's precisely the point. Chrambl works without any fuss. It feels a bit like simplifying the washing process without having to compromise.
And the climate-friendly cleaning cube can do even more. When diluted, the small cube becomes a glass, floor, all-purpose, or even oven cleaner. Whether it's a ceramic cooktop, windows, or wheel rims – one cube replaces several conventional cleaners. This not only saves space in the cleaning cupboard but also money. Instead of buying a new product for every surface, one product will suffice.
According to the manufacturer, Chrambl can be used for the following:
- ceramic hob cleaner
- Glass cleaner
- Oven cleaner
- Stain remover spray
- Pool edge cleaner
- Cockpit and wheel cleaner for cars
- floor cleaner
