Fakten über den Chrambl Waschwürfel
Why conventional detergents are not sustainable
Conscious washing begins with understanding
All common detergents are single-use products – with one exception: soap nuts.
Whether liquid detergent, powder, pods, or laundry sheets – they are re-dosed for each wash cycle or are pre-dosed. They don't take into account the actual load or the amount of water in the program. The problem: Pre-dosed products are often oversized , which leads to excessive amounts of chemicals, residues in the laundry, and unnecessary environmental pollution. My Chrambl® Multi-Wash Cube takes a different approach. It's a solid multi-purpose detergent that only partially dissolves with each wash cycle – adjusted to the actual amount of water used. No daily refills, no packaging waste. Simple, efficient, sustainable.

Liquid detergent: Up to 90% water – packaged in plastic
Liquid laundry detergents are made up of around 80 to 90% water – an ingredient you get from your tap anyway. Yet this water-rich product is bottled in large plastic bottles, transported across the country, and sold at high prices. This not only creates unnecessary CO₂ emissions, but also generates significant amounts of packaging waste. Many of these bottles are difficult or impossible to recycle. The result: a high ecological footprint for something that should be simple. Chrambl® takes a different approach – concentrated, compact, and plastic-free.

Washing powder: fillers instead of effectiveness
Many conventional detergents appear bulky – but this is deceptive. They contain large amounts of fillers such as sodium sulfate or silicates, which contribute little to cleaning performance. These are only intended to make the product appear heavier and more effective. In reality, they increase resource consumption, unnecessarily pollute wastewater, and provide no real benefit to laundry. More bulk – but not more effectiveness. Chrambl® deliberately avoids such additives and instead relies on 100% active ingredients for maximum efficiency with minimal impact.

Disposable products: Always the same dose – never the right one
Pods and caps always dispense the same amount of detergent – regardless of whether you have half a drum of laundry or are using the energy-saving program. Modern washing machines adjust the amount of water precisely to the selected program. This leads to imbalances: With little water, the concentration is too high, which leaves residues or damages the fibers. With plenty of water, the effect is too weak – dirt remains. This rigid system ignores the reality of everyday laundry. The Chrambl® Multi-Wash Cube, on the other hand, dissolves slowly and in a controlled manner – tailored to what is actually happening. A new principle of dosing: flexible, precise, well thought out.

Technical dependence due to dosing systems
Many modern washing systems are based on closed technologies: special cartridges, costly refills, and deliberate incompatibility with alternative solutions. These systems force you into brand loyalty – not through persuasion, but through technical limitations. Control lies with the manufacturer, not you. My Chrambl® Multi-Wash Cube puts an end to this. It works in any washing machine with a drawer, completely without coercion. No subscription, no dependency – just trust through performance. An open solution for people who want to make their own decisions.
